We Heart Confetti Showers: Part Two, Packaging It Up

Confetti cones are the usual packaging, but at my wedding I had a problem with them tipping over in the basket they were presented in. It was fine while they were all tucked in, but when the first few were pulled out, the rest fell over. I ended up plugging them with tissue paper.

And then we had our brainwave; how about using our Pillow Boxes? They remind us of old-style confetti packets and they hold as much confetti as a cone. Best of all, they can be closed securely, so they can be handed out beforehand, or it’s a nice touch to leave them on the seats with the Orders of Service. And if you pinch them a bit when you open them, they flutter out the confetti beautifully.

At 25p each they’re a lot cheaper than many fancy cones, and you can decorate them beautifully and individually.
