Summer Bliss, Emma & Jordan
Emma & Jordan chose our 'Love is the Key' stationery to set the scene for what has to be one of the most beautiful weddings. Ever. They tied the knot in August with a ceremony at St Gregory's Church in Welford, followed by a reception at Templars Barn in Shefford Woodlands. Emma kept in touch with us throughout her planning, ordering lots of our goodies - from gifts (she chose our gorgeous silver key necklaces and freshwater pearl bracelets) to DIY bits and pieces, so I couldn't wait to see what they created on the day, and boy it does not disappoint!
In a beautiful rural setting, they created a relaxed, pretty and joyful day full of special touches - many of which they made themselves with the help of family and friends. Emma's brother's girlfriend made them strawberry jam and onion chutney for their favours which they decorated with our personalised labels. Emma visited local charity and antique shops with her mum and incorporated things from home too to try to keep costs down. The opportunity for help was not lost on her hen weekend either where they had a craft session to make pompoms and to decorate jam jars. And didn't it all come together perfectly? We love the way that they have used paper doilies to make bunting and paper tape to make little flags on the colourful paper straws too...
Emma says "We ordered our stationery from Wedding in a Teacup, a wonderful website which I kept going back to for creative ideas, thank you presents and all the little details. The invitations were really important to us because we wanted to set the scene for our guests without giving too much away. Their attention to detail is amazing – each invitation had its own little key attached. I also ordered some of their ribbon to tie it all together.
