Barn Weddings

We’ve got a real soft spot for a barn wedding! Barns are atmospheric and spacious and their high ceilings mean they have great acoustics. And they’re a joy to dress; from traditional country rustic to a contrasting modern and dramatic look (think neon lights against those lovely old brick walls!).

For centuries, country wedding celebrations have been held in barns and you can work this lovely emotional link with simple jugs of flowers, pots of herbs and plants, hay bales with rugs on for seating, and festoons of fabulous bunting. It all creates a joyous, relaxed feeling, right from the start of your celebrations.

We love the idea of seating plan cards tucked into shabby metal hearts above an apple crate of flowers. For place markers; hand-stamped luggage tags or colour pop badges. For favours, enrich your back-to-nature theme with unique seed packets or adorable pots of home-made jam or chutney with pretty personalised labels.

Alternatively, that full-of-impact barn space will embrace as much drama and bright colour as you can import into it! Neon bar signs, kooky photo booths, wonderful coloured pompoms and tassels hanging flamboyantly from the rafters …. Go as wild as you like, the barn will reflect it all gloriously back to you!
