3 Reasons Why We Love Baby Showers!
Oh baby! Baby showers are big news and for good reason too. Once an American tradition, baby showers have well and truly hit UK shores, with 2 out of 3 British mums-to-be* now hosting a pre-baby celebration - filled with fun, games and girly get-togethers. It’s a chance to celebrate the imminent arrival
Whether mum-to-be is expecting her first bundle of joy or her fifth, it’s a very exciting time thinking about the little person growing inside her - what will he or she look like? Who will they take after? Who might they become? In the last few months, as the whole family anticipates the pitter patter of tiny feet, baby showers provide a lovely opportunity to get everyone together before baby arrives and celebrate them, before life gets busy! There are no set baby shower rules
Speaking of hen parties, just like with a pre-wedding party, a baby shower can be tailored to each mum-to-be. If mum’s an outgoing kind of girl, she might want want to do a gender reveal - where she announces if her little one is a boy or a girl (one of the most fun ways to do this is with a giant balloon kit, guaranteed to add a BANG to proceedings) and get everyone laughing with fun games.
